Sweater season has officially started in England. Today I’m talking about off the shoulder sweaters. They are such great transitional pieces for winter. Regular sweaters can get so bulky and boring sometimes (but I do still love them), this ruffle off the shoulder is the perfect alternative. And, I know what you are thinking, ‘Charlene, aren’t you going to be colder because your shoulders are showing?” Nope, not at all! This gold ruffled sweater from House of Harlow 1960 X Revolve is just such a great go-to for those cooler nights on the town. I ended up wearing this to dinner in Ludlow with my husband, my mom and in-laws.
I know we all don’t want to be fully covered for date night, but we also want to stay warm and look cute and this sweater certainly does that! This sweater you can dress it up or down. I love it when you can dress up or down an item of clothing and completely change the look!
I, of course, paired this sweater with a black denim skirt and some over the knee boots. But it would also look super cute with jeans, ankle booties, and an oversized coat.
