If you have been following me for a while, then you already know this but if you’re new here, I use to do posts like this all the time. But then I would recreate looks from Nicole Richie. I wanted to get back in creating and finding looks for less, as its something close to my heart. It is actually how I got started in the blogging world.
I have been working on this post for quite some time and been wanting to do for the longest time. I’m finally excited to share it with you.
Today I’m sharing two dresses that are mirror images of each other. The dress on the right is from Zara (£49.99 or $69.90 US), and the dress on the left is from SheIn (£18.99 or $22.00 US). I bet you couldn’t tell the difference by looking at them if you weren’t told.
The biggest noticeable difference is in the feel. I know you can’t physically feel them through a photo but the fabric used in the Zara dress feels softer and is a lot heavier in weight. The SheIn dress doesn’t feel as nice, to be honest. Its 100% polyester and the fabric is a bit thin.
Does this make it unwearable? Not at all!
Another small difference I noticed in person was the blue in the SheIn dress was just a tad darker in color. Now a little about sizing;
In the SheIn dress, I’m wearing a small. The overall fit of it, I actually liked.
I’m wearing an XS in the Zara dress, and honestly, I wasn’t a fan of the fit at all. As it was just too big. As the Zara dress had a lot more fabric around the waist and on the bottom compared to the SheIn dress.
Overall these dresses are the exact same, minus a few things here and there. But if I saw these two dresses in a magazine side by side or on Instagram, I wouldn’t know which one was the more expensive one and which one was £30 cheaper (I would in person though hehe).
While I was uploading them, I couldn’t tell which one was which! But then I remembered the coloring is slightly darker on the SheIn dress.
