Have you ever stepped out of your comfort zone? Last week I stepped out of my comfort zone, further than I thought I could. I wore a suit. Suits are no longer just for the office. Suits where a big trend earlier this year, especially monochromatic suits and I remember seeing so many of my favorite celebrities and bloggers rocking them.
In the back of my mind I have always wanted to try one but couldn’t really find one I actually loved. Or thought I could pull one off. Until about two months ago I was in town grabbing a coffee with my husband and walked by Primark. Displayed in the window was this gorgeous pink/lilic corduroy suit. Instantly was obsessed with it! But it wasn’t until a few weeks later I actually had the nerve to try it on. Even though every time I walked by it I grew to love it more and more.
Suits are very similar to co-ords because you can style each piece separately or wear it as a whole. Wear the entire suit as one with a contrast bold sweater underneath, like I did. Or pair the blazer with a tee, high-waisted jeans and heels. You can even just do the trousers with sneakers and a tee. There are a number of endless possibilities.
You can see another way I styled just the blazer from this suit here.
