Here’s a photo from my recent trip to the Netherlands where I attended my cousin’s wedding. As I’m half Dutch, Hubby and I had the chance to spend some quality time with my family. This particular look was captured while we were out for a late lunch at my uncle’s restaurant. Later, we moved to a lovely outside terrace for a glass of wine.
There is just something about this Rotate Birger Christensen dress that makes it perfect for dressing up or down. There is just something so charming about the floral print and the puffy sleeves on this dress. It looks so chic paired with heels or even sneakers. Of course, I paired my dress with my beloved Puma sneakers and a cute little Primark bag. It was only £3!
You can shop my exact dress here along with a number of other colors and prints:
Interestingly, the building behind me, which is now a museum, used to be a prison. The Hague’s Gevangenpoort is a former medieval prison and gate on the Buitenhof. From 1420 until 1828, this jail housed people who committed serious crimes and were awaiting sentencing.
