Let’s talk about Grosvenor Casino Blackpool’s new restaurant: The Upper Deck.
I’ve been going to Grosvenors Casino ever since I moved to Blackpool about five years ago for date night, birthdays, anniversaries, drinks with friends, you name it. Plus, I absolutely love the gambling machines.
Recently the Grosvenor Casino Blackpool revamped its restaurant, and this revamp was just what this restaurant needed! It is fabulous!
I’m such a sucker for decor in restaurants, and this decor is one for the books. There are so many gold and green tones, I just love it. It giving me Art Deco vibes.
Not not only did the restaurant get a facelift but the entire menu has also changed. So let’s take a closer look at some of the delicious drinks, starters and mains, as I have visited the Upper Deck about a hand full of times over the last couple of months with friends and family.
Let’s start with the drinks:
Espresso Martini: Vodka, Kahlua & espresso
2. Cherry Libre: Spiced Rum, Amaretto, Lime, Cherry and Pepsi Max
3. French Martini: Raspberry Liqueur, Vodka, Pineapple Juice
All cocktails are £8
Below are 3 out of the 7 starters The Upper Deck has to offer:
2. Pan seared scallops: Served with crispy pancetta, crushed peas, chervil, pea tendrils and soy jus £8
3. Slow braised pork cheek: Creamed potato, garlic purée and wholegrain mustard jus £7.50
Below are some dishes from the grill and from the mains, plus a few sides!

3.Beef Ragout: Linguine tossed in beef and tomato ragout served with parmesan shavings, wild rocket and garlic bread £15.00
fine beans, carrot purée, fondant potato, herb crumb and chicken sauce £15.50
5. Seafood Linguine: Hake and fresh mussels linguine bound in a tomato and
coriander arrabbiata style sauce, served with fresh herbs and basil oil £17.50
6. Cajun Chicken Burger: Grilled marinated Cajun chicken breast served on a brioche bun,
with Smoked Applewood cheddar, salad garnish, triple cooked chips and pickled fennel slaw £11.50
7. From the sides menu: Truffle & ale macaroni cheese £3.50, roasted new potatoes, and glazed carrots £3.00 each
8. Cider Braised Belly of Pork: Caramelized apple purée, cavolo nero, glazed carrot, creamed potato and pearl onion jus £17.50
Still, haven’t tried anything of the dessert section as. The freshly made doughnuts sound yummy, but the last few times I have visited the kitchen ran out of them. Next visit I will defiantly be trying something off the dessert menu!
If you want great food, drinks, atmosphered friendly staff, I highly recommend checking out The Upper Deck at the Grosvenors Casino in Blackpool! I would also like to mentioned everything at the Upper Deck is priced very reasonable.
