How To: Styling a Jumpsuit for Fall and Winter

Do you think jumpsuits can only be worn during spring and summer?

Wrong, think again with some creative styling, a jumpsuit can actually work for fall and winter. If you know anything about me, jumpsuits have always been my favorite. They function as an all in one outfit, which makes getting ready super easy.

Over the summer ChicWish was kind enough to send me this gorgeous purple polka dot jumpsuit. You can see how I styled it for summer here.

I have rounded up some great tips on how to style a jumpsuit for fall and winter:

  1.  LAYER, LAYER and LAYER! This tip is probably the best way to make your jumpsuit more suitable for fall and winter. You can add a turtleneck underneath, like how I did, then a cute jacket or coat. Have fun with the styling. Add a moto jacket, a trench or even a fluffy teddy bear coat. You can also  accessorize with a fedora or beanie, and add a cute scarf and gloves to the mix!
  2. As it was very windy in Blackpool, like always my legs weren’t too cold and due to the fact my jumpsuit is a midi. But if you wanted to for those days when it is really cold you can always add opaque tights.
  3. A good bootie is my go to footwear in fall and winter. Cute textured ankle booties like these Cole Haan ones, or even some cute flat booties would go great! If you are really daring and want to stay even warmer you can add longer boots for the illusion of booties. Boots and booties are a practical and always a fashionable choice for fall and winter!
