Happy Monday Everyone!
I know, it has been a while since the last time I posted on my blog, but I have been really busy! I just had my friend/neighbor over from the States for nine days and have been showing her the NorthWest of England a bit! I’m trying to get into the swing of things, and I have a number of posts coming your way.
As you know a few weeks ago I mention in a previous post about Everything5 Pound, this new online store where everything is, yep you guess it just £5. They were kind enough to send me a few lovely items from their store. You can see my first post about them here.
Isn’t this dress just super cute? The print is just adorable, plus look at those gorgeous bell short sleeves. I just also love the key hole detail on the back. I must say, swing dresses are the best! If you haven’t noticed, I’m really into prints especially floral prints. They are great in the summer and a perfect pop of color for the fall/winter. So a dress like this is a great transitional piece, just add a leather jacket and some booties!
For size reference Im wearing a UK8. My only fault about this dress I have, is about the length. It is extremely short! The length on the front was okay, but the back was really short. Even on my petite frame, (I’m 5’2) I felt like I had to keep my hands to the side and back because the wind kept making my dress fly up. Overall I feel the dress is more of a tunic than a dress.
