Have you even been to a lavender field?
If you haven’t, you must put it on your list of things to do! This was my first time at a lavender field and I must say I wasn’t disappointed! A couple weeks ago when my husband and I were down in Worcester I found out there was a lavender field in the Cotswolds, which happened to be not too far from where we were. Lavender Fields have been on my bucket list to do for a while now and I’m so glad I did it this year.
When we arrived at the Cotswolds lavender fields you can smell the lavender and it smelled amazing! The other thing I noticed or more like heard was all the bees. But let’s be real for a second I wasn’t a massive fan of the bees when I first got there. I’m actually afraid of them, but after a few minutes I quickly got over it.
For my outfit I wore something new to my wardrobe and it was certainly a great bargain. I found this super cute lace and fishnet dress at New Look on their sale rack for £7! It’s unfortunately not available online anymore, but if you head into your local New Look, you might be able to find it. I love the femininity of this dress and the way it flows. Plus I just adore the way the red pops in the sea of purple lavender.
