Happy Hump Day Everyone!
Today I’m sharing this super cute floral dress from TopShop. I must say, it screams 70s to me don’t you think? I just love everything about this dress from the high neck tie to the billowing sleeves. It has somewhat of an asymmetrical hem. If you’re not a dress person, the print of my dress also comes in a blouse version, which I have linked below. For size reference I’m wearing a size UK6 or a US XS. I would say it fits true to size, I did go up one size since I like my flowy dresses a little more loose.
I paired this heavy petal dress with a bamboo bag. This is TopShop’s alternative to the famous Cult Gaia, which seems to be in every bloggers wardrobe. If you follow me on Instagram and read my captions then you might know by now I’m not a fan of very trendy pieces. If I find things in store or online and I love it, I just buy it. I buy things that are me, and if they happen to be on trend then cool. No biggie. The reason why this bag is such a great alternative is because, I love the box shape and how it has a canvas draw string bag inside it. It also has a nice long black strap with you can use over the shoulder or as a cross body. Plus, this TopShop bamboo bag has a £32 price tag which makes for a nice incentive. I would hurry though, it seems to be already a high demand summer bag. It’s already sold out online, but if you head to your local topshop you might be able to find it in store.
