How To- Cropped Sweater

Considering it’s already spring, but spring weather just isn’t here yet in England, especially in Lancashire. For today’s post I’m sharing a ‘How To’.
Before I begin, let me ask you. When you think of activate wear and floral trousers you wouldn’t normally pair them together right? Especially a cropped activate top. Wrong.

Below I have listed a few key points to keep in mind when styling a cropped activate wear sweater.

  1. Playing with style is experimenting with proportions. Wearing a cropped sweater is certainly no exception. If the top is tiny or fitted, then go big on the bottom and vice versa. I did a more of a boxy cropped sweater. I love a high waist skirt or pant for anything cropped.
  2. Maybe try pairing a cropped top with a more conservative item such as a pencil skirt or smart trouser. Like I did, with these House of Harlow 1960 pants.
  3. I would definitely say, this goes for fashion pieces you dare to wear or even an activate cropped top; Be confidence and have a positive attitude. Having those two items will make anything look good.

I wore a cropped activate wear sweater from Primark and my House of Harlow 1960 ‘Juni’ pants. I added my Saint Laurent booties and Zara beaded bag to complete the look.  I just love the simplicity of an activate cropped sweater and the sophistication of the floral trousers. Don’t you?!
