Holland

Last month I visited the Netherlands with my husband, sister and sister’s boyfriend. We spend the first two days in Amsterdam, doing a little bit of site seeing. If you head to my Instagram page, I have a highlight page of all the things I did in Holland. Make sure you check that out!

If you are new here, and haven’t had the chance to read my about me. A little fun fact about me is that I’m actually Dutch. I was born in the Netherlands and visit regularly ever since I was little. I also speak Dutch fluently. My mom is from Holland and my dad is from New York.

In Voorburg there is the cutest windmill, De Vlieger Windmill which was built in 1621. In 1989, De Vlieger Windmill was moved to its present location. Before it moved it stood about a kilometer to the southwest, but it was difficult to operate since it was surrounded by buildings and the mill couldn’t catch enough wind to operate. Now the windmill stands in a more open landscape, which is near a children’s petting farm. You can read more about it here.

I wore my Tie Neck Flower Print Dress from SheIn, which has been my go to dress lately! Its lightweight, comfortable and perfect for the summer. You can see how I styled this dress another way here! In my previous post about the dress, I mentioned  wear a little slip underneath because the skirt portion is light and will fly up in the wind. For size reference I’m wearing a small. SheIn always has the cutest dresses! Below I have linked a few more of my favorite floral dress SheIn has to offer. Plus all these pieces are under £21 or $35.
