Wedding season is upon us! So over the next couple of weeks, I will be sharing with you ‘what to wear to a bridal shower or wedding as a guest’. You might wonder why all of a sudden wedding related posts? For those of you who didn’t know, I will be getting married in June. My bridal shower will be at the end of this month. I figured what better way to get in wedding mode than with a couple of posts.
The one color you really should never wear is white as that is reserved exclusively for the bride. I would even steer clear of all colors in that family: eggshell, ivory, bone, ecru, etc. Save all those white clothing items for non-wedding related events/parties.
I think floral prints are the best way to go for any occasion, like this Zara one I’m wearing. Pair it with wedges (as I did) and it can be perfect for a bridal shower. Or pair it with heels and a cute clutch and its a great dress to wear to a wedding. Unfortunately, this dress sold out on Zara’s website, but below I have linked some similar styles.
